Benjamin's 10th Month

This past weekend we went to Austin for the day to celebrate May/April birthdays. We ate at the Catfish Parlour, where I fell in love with their hush puppies- they were so delicious! Benjamin was sick with a summer cold- high fever, runny nose and a grumpy baby- so he was not feeling his best. A few pictures from the trip:

Trip to Colorado Springs

This past week, for my birthday, Keith flew me and Benjamin out to Colorado Springs for a few days. Here are a few pictures!







It was wonderful to see everyone and thank you for making this trip so wonderful!! Because the trip was so brief I wasn't able to see nearly everyone that I wanted to, but I had such a special and blessed time.

Benjamin's Well-Visit

Hello all! Benjamin had his 9 month well visit today and for those that keep up with these things, Benjamin is 18lbs 9oz and 27in long. He is getting so big! They had to draw some blood to check iron levels- he did great, but got a little upset when we wouldn't let him play with the tubing. Silly goober. He got a Nemo sticker that says, "I was a brave patient," and he certainly was. Praise the Lord for the blessings of a healthy baby boy!

It's good to laugh...

Today at precisely 4:21pm I realized that my shirt was on backwards. I had been wearing the same shirt since 8am this morning. Maybe that is the best description of how my day went. But I sure am laughing about it now!

Happy Nine Month Birthday Benjamin!

Nine months ago today, we had a beautiful baby boy.





Today, he is getting into everything, cutting his fifth tooth, with a runny nose and a little fever. Bummer. But he sure is cute! We love you Benjamin Luke!
